Remuneration & Reward Specialist | $140-$160k + super

The Leaders

The P&C team is decentralised, with each vertical of the business having its own dedicated specialists across the function. You will report to a Senior P&C leader with extensive experience and tenure in the industry and a dotted line to the Head of Operations for the division. This reporting structure allows you the opportunity to stay abreast of the organisation from an operational perspective and work with the P&C leadership team to drive strategy.

The Opportunity

The Remuneration & Reward Specialist will play a key role in providing strategic advice to enhance the rem and reward frameworks that drive performance, retention and engagement.

You will have the opportunity to consult with C-Suite leaders, including the CEO, on best practice and work between operational and strategic initiatives.

Further, you will:

  • Own and lead the rem and reward program for the business unit;
  • Carry out analysis and provide advice to stakeholders on the internal and external markets, highlighting trends;
  • Be the SME for rem and reward and provide sound solutions that solve business challenges and that enhance the overall frameworks;
  • Remuneration benchmarking exercises, providing accurate advice on retention and incentives including analysis and recommendations;
  • Developing reward solutions for the company in addition to the current discounts platform and partnerships in place;
  • Continuing the transformation journey looking to uplift employee experience across the organisation and partner with HR Business Partners on building out a Rem and Reward platform and other strategic priorities; and
  • Work closely with external stakeholders who are part of the Joint Venture and provide accurate and timely advice.

About You

To be considered for this position you will ideally possess 3-5 years working as an Advisor within an in-house corporate Remuneration or Reward team. You will possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area, be highly numerate and advanced in your MS Excel abilities.

Any exposure to the Retail industry or alike is advantageous but not essential.

You will have a deep understanding of remuneration and reward and ideally have exposure to process improvement and have the ability to work in a standalone capacity to be the rem and reward SME.  

You enjoy working with stakeholders, consulting with them throughout periods of change and partnering with HR assisting their abilities to influence business leaders to make commercial and human centered decisions.  

The Process

The interview process will involve three stages, reference checks and a background check will be completed prior to offer.

Please note this opportunity can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane (CBD locations) with hybrid working arrangements.
