The Company

Our Client is a leading player in the Australian entertainment industry. They provide professional audio, lighting, and staging solutions to a range of large corporates right through to multimillion dollar productions. Offering a diverse portfolio of world-renowned technologies they are going through an exciting period of growth and change! With offices based in Mascot, this opportunity will be onsite 4 days per week and work from home one day per week, with flexibility on what day works best for you! The Leaders

You will report into the Head of People and Culture and have the chance to be a part of modernizing the HR processes of the business alongside other senior leaders in the business.

The Opportunity

As the People & Culture Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving business outcomes by championing the people strategy and delivering strategic guidance on a wide variety of people matters. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with leaders across the organization and revamp the state of the People and Culture team within the business.  This is a unique opportunity to bring your experience and progressive ideas to modernize People and Culture processes.

Experience in a generalist senior HR advisor or Business Partner role will set you up for success in this position. In addition to that, our client is looking for the following attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment laws, regulations and other legal requirements.
  • Knowledge of best practice principles for people practices including talent acquisition, employment relations, development, performance management, engagement, change management and reward.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An aptitude for navigating a variety of systems and working through new recommendations and potentially implementations.  
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, lead and manage stakeholders.

The Process

The interview process will involve an initial first interview via video call with the Head of People and Culture, followed by an in person interview with the herself and the CEO.
