Employee Relations Case Manager | 12 Month FTC

Own complex case management and act as an SME on all things ER/IR to senior leadership!

The Leaders

This role comes with the opportunity to work closely in tandem with a number of high-performing and impactful senior leaders across both P&C and ER. You’ll report directly into the ER Manager who is an expert in employment legislation and IR, and form part of a larger and highly supportive HR/ER team.

The Opportunity

As the ER Case Manager, you’ll be responsible for the management of high-risk, highly complex ER matters while also supporting with change management. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Take ownership over grievances and serious HR/ER matters that involve significant investigation;
  • See disciplinary procedures and outcomes through to completion;
  • Effectively mediate cases and collaborate with stakeholders in order to drive mutually beneficial outcomes where possible;
  • Assist with organisational change and restructuring projects;
  • Proactively coach leaders to elevate capability and confidence in dealing with people matters;
  • Deliver advice on ER and IR to stakeholders that is not only accurate & compliant, but also contextualised and tailored to specific circumstances.

About You

You will be a resilient and confident case manager with a level of expertise in the management of disciplinary procedures. You’ll have an ability to think critically when assessing each matter you are engaged on, and be able to effectively work with stakeholders to reach beneficial outcomes.

Your strong technical knowledge of employment legislation, case management, and IR will be coupled by a level-headed, considered approach and stakeholder engagement style.

Finally, you’ll have a natural tendency to work in a collaborative & proactive way and leverage the skills of your broader team.

The Process

Our client is looking for an immediate start, and as such this interview process will likely consist of 1-2 interviews following an initial meeting with a Levyl consultant.
