The Leaders

Reporting to a global Chief People Officer, along with senior commercial leaders across the region to drive the people strategy during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

Supported by global Centres of Excellence across Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Learning & Development and Total Rewards, you'll have the autonomy to lead the Australian people agenda while collaborating with experienced international colleagues.

The Opportunity

As the Senior HR Business Partner, you'll partner closely with leaders across Australia and the broader APAC region, aligning people strategy with commercial objectives during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

While this role offers plenty of strategic exposure, it's equally important that you're someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and getting things done. This is a hands-on business partnering role where you'll move seamlessly between strategic initiatives and tactical execution, thriving in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve and no two days are the same.

Day to day, you will:
  • Partner closely with senior leaders across Australia and the broader region, aligning people strategy with commercial objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor across the full employee lifecycle, providing practical and commercially focused HR guidance.
  • Coach and support leaders through complex employee relations matters, performance management and organisational change.
  • Lead organisational design and workforce planning initiatives to support continued business growth.
  • Influence leadership capability through coaching, development and strategic people initiatives.
  • Drive regional people projects and collaborate with global Centres of Excellence to deliver best practice outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple countries, influencing decisions and challenging constructively where required.
  • Balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, adapting quickly as business priorities evolve.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Sydney office, including light office management responsibilities and helping foster a positive workplace experience.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve people processes, enhancing both employee experience and business performance.
  
About You

This role is suitable for an experienced HR Business Partner who thrives in environments where growth creates opportunity. Rather than waiting for direction, you naturally take ownership, identify solutions and enjoy building as you go. You're energised by pace, comfortable wearing multiple hats and know how to prioritise when business needs shift.

To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience working within a fast-paced startup, scale-up or high-growth technology environment where you've partnered closely with commercial leaders and supported a business through change.

You're commercially minded, emotionally intelligent and pragmatic in your approach. Rather than simply applying policy, you're someone who understands the broader business context and works collaboratively with leaders to achieve the right outcome.
