Contract Type:

Contractor

Location:

Sydney

Salary:

90,000.00 - 100,000.00 Year + superannuation

The Company

Boasting a portfolio of several state-of-the art venues, our client has a reputation as one of the most diverse and dynamic hospitality and entertainment companies in Western Sydney, offering their substantial membership base a broad range of facilities at which to eat, drink and celebrate. With a community-centric approach focused on delivering exceptional service, they are highly respected, high-performing and have a legacy within the Southwest Sydney area.

The Leaders

The People & Culture Advisor will work closely with the Executive GM, People & Culture Business Partner's and other team members in a collaborative environment. You'll be supported and mentored throughout the role, which is a great opportunity for a junior professional to expand their generalist experience.

The Opportunity

This is a 3-month contract (with potential for permanent opportunity or transition). You will be providing generalist P&C support, assisting with recruitment efforts, handling employee relations issues, and ensuring that the people function remains operational while key team members are away.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
  • Assist with the recruitment process, managing candidate flow, and supporting hiring managers.
  • Help manage employee relations, including addressing concerns and resolving issues effectively.
  • Provide support for workplace health and safety initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with the broader P&C team to ensure the continuity of P&C services.
  • Assist with general administrative duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

About You

You are a motivated, junior HR professional with a generalist skillset. You have an understanding of employment legislation and are keen to develop your HR career in a dynamic environment.

Ideally, you have some experience in recruitment and employee relations, and you enjoy working collaboratively as well as autonomously. You will be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business and have strong organisational skills.

The Process

Following an initial meeting with a Levyl consultant, the next step will be a conversation with the People & Culture Business Partner. Following this, you’ll have an interview with a member of the P&C team and senior management. A quick turnaround is expected, with an ASAP start.

Don't hesitate on applying, however for any quick queries, please contact Harry Hobson on 0461 425 404 or harry@levyl.com.au

Levyl encourage diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment solutions and commit to respond to every applicant. We make selection and shortlist decisions based on your skills, experience, personal attributes, and motivators. Should you be successful for interview, we will tender you an interview accommodation checklist, so you can let us know how we can support you to perform at your best.
