The Organisation
Our Client is an established and highly regarded organisation operating across the premium retail sector.
With a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand, the business is recognised for its commitment to quality and delivering an exceptional customer experience. It offers a professional, welcoming and collaborative working environment, with a strong emphasis on its people, company values and long-standing reputation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development professional to take ownership of learning initiatives across the business, combining creative content development, engaging facilitation and a passion for building employee capability.
The Team
Joining a small, close-knit People & Culture function, you will work closely with the Head of HR and partner with senior stakeholders across Retail, Client Services and broader business functions.
The team operates in a friendly and collaborative environment, offering a high level of support whilst encouraging individuals to take ownership of their responsibilities and contribute ideas.
You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships across the business, working closely with leaders to understand learning priorities and deliver initiatives that support employee development and business performance.
The Opportunity
This is a broad, hands-on Learning & Development position offering the opportunity to design, develop and deliver engaging learning experiences across a premium retail environment.
With existing learning foundations in place, you will have scope to contribute fresh ideas, enhance training programs and take creative ownership of learning content and delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
You will be an experienced Learning & Development professional who enjoys combining creative instructional design with engaging, hands-on training delivery.
Ideally, you will bring experience from a premium retail environment, with exposure to product knowledge, sales capability or customer experience training. However, experience within other product-led, customer-focused environments will also be relevant.
You will have strong instructional design and content development skills, with the confidence to independently create learning materials and deliver engaging face-to-face training. You will be naturally curious, with the ability to learn new product information and communicate it clearly to different audiences.
The successful candidate will bring excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with employees, managers and senior stakeholders.
Above all, you will be warm, personable and approachable, with a genuine passion for learning and development. You will enjoy taking initiative, contributing creative ideas and making a positive impact within a collaborative team.
The Process
The interview process will include an initial meeting with a Levyl team member, followed by interviews with members of the people team and senior stakeholders.
For a confidential discussion, please contact Harry Hobson on 0461 425 404 or harry@levyl.com.au.
Levyl encourages diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment solutions and is committed to responding to every applicant. We make selection and shortlist decisions based on your skills, experience, personal attributes and motivators.
