Join Levyl, CPO Search and The Transformation Group for an evening exploring one of the biggest questions shaping the future of work: who should lead in the age of AI - People or Technology?

As artificial intelligence continues to reshape how organisations operate, the intersection between People & Culture and Technology leadership has never been more critical. Decisions around work design, capability, data and systems are no longer sitting in silos and neither are the consequences.

This event brings that tension to life through a live, high-energy debate between Chief People Officers and Chief Technology Officers, each presenting their perspective on how organisations should navigate AI transformation.

Designed for leaders who are actively shaping the future of their organisations, this is a session for those who want to stay ahead of where work is heading next.

Join Levyl and Mamamia to discuss the impact on Global DEI practices in the wake of the US election and the future of inclusive leadership.

This event will focus on how global DEI trends have been politicised and influenced in the lead-up to the US election and how this will shape leadership and workplace practices in Australia and beyond.

As the world’s eyes are on the US and their upcoming election, our panel discussion will present differing viewpoints that highlight the opportunities and challenges that lay ahead for business leaders and People & Culture professionals in an evolving landscape.

Designed for leaders who are actively shaping the future of their organisations, this is a session for those who want to stay ahead of where work is heading next.

This event will be filled with:

The Great Debate: Watch three CPOs and three CTOs go head-to-head across three key questions, tackling topics such as who should lead AI transformation, whether technology or work design should come first, and how decision making will evolve in an AI-enabled world.

Audience Voting (and a Winner): This isn’t a passive panel, after each round the audience will vote live on which side delivered the stronger argument, before one team is crowned the overall winner at the end of the night!

Sharp, Practical Insights: Go beyond theory as senior leaders unpack how they are thinking about AI in practice, from capability building and workforce design through to governance and decision making.

A Cross-Functional Room: Connect with a curated mix of P&C and Technology professionals. Whether you sit closer to the people or systems side, this is a rare opportunity to hear how the other side thinks and engage with leaders shaping the future of their fields!

Live Q&A: Bring your questions and challenge the panel. This is a space for open, honest discussion on what’s working, what’s not, and what comes next.

Networking Opportunities: Continue the conversation with peers across P&C and Technology. Build meaningful connections and share perspectives.

This event is sponsored by Noble Craft Distillers, a boutique distillery and cocktail bar, founded by experienced bartenders. They specialise in creating bartender-focused spirits, including juniper-forward gin with native botanicals.

Chaitanya Kuber

Chaitanya Kuber
Chief Technology Officer, Airtasker

Chaitanya is CTO at Airtasker, Australia's leading local services marketplace. Over the past year he has led a deliberate AI transformation, moving his engineering organisation from AI-augmented development to genuinely agentic ways of working, with measurable improvements in productivity and a clear-eyed view of what comes next. He made the harder choice early: not backfilling roles, reallocating budget into AI capability, and using his own organisation as the proof of concept for what the rest of the business could become. He now has a strong point of view on what AI transformation actually requires from leaders, and what most organisations are still getting wrong.
