Contract Type:

Contractor

Location:

Brisbane

Salary:

115,000.00 - 120,000.00 Year

The Company

Our client is a rapidly growing resources organisation backed by leading Australian investment and an experienced executive team, with operations across Australia and New Zealand. Following a significant acquisition and rebrand, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation.

With a workforce of approximately 110 employees and plans to scale significantly over the next 12–18 months, the organisation is continuing to strengthen its operational footprint across New Zealand. The business is known for its down-to-earth culture, long-term mindset and genuine commitment to the communities in which it operates.

The Leaders

This role reports to a highly regarded People & Culture leader who is known for her practical, collaborative and people-first approach.

You will also partner closely with site leaders and a broader TA and P&C team who value trust, accountability and genuine collaboration. This is a business where people are encouraged to roll up their sleeves, contribute ideas and make a real impact.

The Opportunity

This is a 6-month contract opportunity supporting a busy and growing workforce during a key period of operational growth and hiring activity.

You will help to lead end-to-end recruitment across a mix of operational, site-based and corporate positions, partnering closely with leaders across the business to deliver practical, effective hiring solutions. The role will involve recruiting across high-volume operational hiring as well as corporate and specialist positions, offering plenty of variety and stakeholder exposure.

This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys balancing hands-on operational recruitment with broader corporate hiring, while working in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same.

The position offers the opportunity to step into a role where you can quickly add value, support hiring outcomes and contribute to building sustainable recruitment processes and talent pipelines.
Day to day, you will:
  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment across operational, technical and corporate roles
  • Manage a combination of site-based volume recruitment and corporate hiring activity
  • Partner closely with operational and corporate leaders on workforce planning and hiring needs
  • Manage agency and labour hire relationships
  • Proactively source talent across regional and low-digital markets
  • Support onboarding and candidate experience initiatives
  • Contribute to recruitment process improvements and hiring best practice
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally to support ongoing talent attraction
About You

An experienced Talent Acquisition professional with a background within resources, mining or a similarly blue-collar industry environment, you bring a strong understanding of operational hiring and regional talent markets.

Experience recruiting within these sectors will be important to success in the role, particularly when partnering closely with operational leaders and supporting site-based workforce growth.

Experience across both operational and corporate recruitment is essential, alongside the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across different areas of the business. A practical, adaptable and solutions-focused approach will be highly valued, particularly within a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

The Process

This process will include multiple interview stages with the People & Culture team and broader leadership group.

For further information or to have a confidential discussion, please contact Emilia Rodriguez at Levyl via emilia@levyl.com.au. We look forward to hearing from you!

Levyl encourage diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment solutions and commit to responding to every applicant. We make selection and shortlist decisions based on skills, experience, personal attributes and motivators.
