The Company
Our client is one of Australia’s leading fintech organisations, recognised for reshaping the way Australians engage with financial services. With a strong national footprint and a growing global presence, the business combines innovative technology with human expertise to deliver seamless, customer-first experiences.
Operating in a fast-paced, scale-up environment, the organisation continues to evolve its operating model, investing in systems, process improvement, and intelligent automation to enhance both customer and employee outcomes. With a clear growth trajectory and an appetite for innovation, this is a business that values curiosity, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
For those joining now, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a business at a pivotal stage, where there is both a strong foundation and clear opportunity to uplift and shape the next phase of its People function.
The Opportunity
This is a broad and hands-on leadership role, responsible for leading the P&C function and delivering a high-quality employee experience across the full lifecycle.
With a team in place across Australia and the Philippines, your initial focus will be to stabilise, support, and uplift capability, particularly across employee relations and performance, while building structure, consistency, and confidence across the function.
From there, the opportunity expands into driving process improvement and systems optimisation, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, embed scalable practices, and enhance service delivery across the business.
Looking ahead, you will also play a role in supporting the evolution of a more technology-enabled People function, with a focus on improving efficiency, reducing manual processes, and exploring how automation and AI can support day-to-day operations.
Key areas of focus include:
You are a well-rounded P&C professional with strong foundations in employee relations, combined with a practical, solutions-focused approach to People Operations.
You are comfortable operating in a hands-on capacity, stepping into complex situations when required, while also identifying opportunities to improve how things are done. You bring a balance of structure and adaptability, and you are confident working in environments where priorities evolve and not everything is fully defined.
Importantly, you are someone who can build trust with stakeholders, communicate with clarity, and operate with sound judgement across both people and business challenges.
The ideal candidate will bring:
The Process
