This organisation plays a critical role in Australia’s energy future, operating and maintaining the high-voltage electricity transmission network that powers millions of homes and businesses. As the energy sector undergoes a once-in-a-generation transformation, the organisation is investing billions into major infrastructure projects to enable the transition to renewable energy.
With large-scale projects underway across the network, the organisation continues to expand its workforce and capabilities. Their People & Culture team plays a vital role in supporting this growth, partnering closely with operational leaders across both corporate and field-based environments.

The Leaders
You will report into the Head of People Services and work closely with senior P&C Business Partners supporting the Major Projects division.
The broader P&C function operates in a collaborative, shared services model, with specialist centres of excellence supporting the business across talent acquisition, employment relations, learning and development, and people strategy. The leadership team values partnership, resilience and adaptability, particularly in a fast-paced environment supporting complex infrastructure delivery.
The Opportunity
This role provides critical P&C support to the Major Projects portfolio, partnering with leaders to deliver timely HR advice and manage a broad range of people matters in a dynamic, project-based environment.
Key responsibilities include:
About You
You are an experienced P&C professional who enjoys partnering closely with leaders to navigate complex people challenges in fast-paced environments. With strong generalist capability, you are confident providing practical and commercially balanced advice across a wide range of employee relations matters, including performance management, grievances and workplace investigations.
You bring a solid understanding of employment legislation, enterprise agreements and industrial relations frameworks, enabling you to interpret policies and guide managers through day-to-day people matters with confidence. Comfortable working across both operational and corporate environments, you build strong relationships with stakeholders and are able to influence and coach leaders to achieve positive people outcomes.
Most importantly, you are resilient, adaptable and comfortable operating in evolving organisations where pace, ambiguity and change are part of the environment. Experience in sectors such as infrastructure, construction, engineering, energy or other operationally complex industries would be highly regarded.

- Coaching managers on people management practices to build leadership capability across the business
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
