The Opportunity
  
This is a newly created, enterprise-wide role reporting into the General Manager of OD. As the Senior Manager, Capability & Culture, you will lead the creation and execution of an enterprise wide learning and capability strategy – designing modern development frameworks that support career progression, uplift cultural maturity, and enable future workforce readiness.

You’ll lead a small internal team and collaborate across business functions to create tools, pathways and systems that make learning accessible, practical and engaging for both corporate and field-based employees. So, what will this look like specifically?
  • Career Pathways & Capability Frameworks: Defining of critical roles and designing of structured pathways, identifying key skills, experiences and development milestones;
  • Learning Enablement: Building self-directed learning models, toolkits and system integrations that empower employee-driven development;
  • Culture & Inclusion: Integration of inclusive practices and DEI objectives into all programs, ensuring long-term cultural uplift and execution of the culture strategy;
  • Strategic Alignment: Aligning career development initiatives with broader workforce planning and transformation goals;
  • Change & Engagement: Leading internal communication and engagement strategies to embed new learning models across the business;
  • Analytics & Impact: Setting of measurable success metrics and reporting on the tangible business impact of capability investment; and
  • Team & Tools: Establishing, leading and growing a small internal team whilst optimising platforms and vendor relationships.
About You
  
We’re seeking a progressive learning, capability and culture leader with experience designing enterprise-wide development strategies in large, complex environments - with exposure to a blue and white collar workforce. You will have proven experience building career frameworks and learning ecosystems from the ground up and be a stakeholder savvy individual with the ability to influence, engage and take people on a change journey!

Hands-on experience with learning tech platforms and external vendors is necessary as is comfort working in a growth and transformation environment. Industry exposure to infrastructure, construction, energy, or similarly complex, project-driven space is highly desirable, as is your progressive approach to people development which will be inclusive, contemporary, and always anchored in impact.
