The Company
Our client is a nationally recognised professional services organisation with thousands of employees across Australia, known for delivering high-quality advice to clients across a diverse range of industries. Their People & Culture team plays a critical role in supporting the business through change while fostering a respectful, inclusive and high-performing workplace.
The Leaders
Reporting to an experienced Associate Director within the Employee Relations function, you'll work closely with an accomplished Director who leads Employment Risk and a highly capable national People & Culture leadership team. The leadership style is collaborative, pragmatic and supportive, with a strong focus on empowering experienced professionals to exercise sound judgement, build trusted relationships and manage matters autonomously.

Key responsibilities include:
You are an experienced Employee Relations professional who thrives in complex environments and brings the confidence to manage sensitive workplace matters with sound judgement, discretion and composure. You will ideally have experience across Employee Relations, Employment Law or Workplace Relations, with a strong track record of leading complex workplace investigations and managing high-risk matters independently.
You bring strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act and relevant workplace frameworks, together with exceptional written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. You are comfortable engaging with senior executives, internal legal teams and a broad range of stakeholders, and can provide practical, balanced advice while maintaining objectivity and procedural fairness.
A legal background or previous experience as an Employment Lawyer will be highly regarded, although it is not essential. Experience gained within professional services, government, healthcare, financial services or another highly regulated environment will also be viewed favourably.
The Process
Successful candidates will be contacted for an initial confidential discussion with Levyl before progressing to a two-stage interview process with our client. Please apply today or contact Antony Jones on 0448 198 544 or antony@levyl.com.au with any confidential queries.
Levyl encourages diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment and is committed to responding to every applicant.
