Senior AI & Workforce Transformation Lead

Date Published:

Contract Type:

Full Time

Location:

Sydney

Salary:

The Company

Our client is one of Australia’s leading fintech organisations, recognised for reshaping the way Australians engage with financial services. With a powerful combination of technology, design, and deep industry expertise, the business has built a strong national footprint and continues to scale at pace.

Currently in the midst of a bold transformation, the company is embedding intelligent automation across every workflow, decision, and customer interaction. This shift builds on years of AI innovation, including virtual agents that have already delivered significant time savings for staff and enhanced customer experiences across the group.

With a large in-house engineering and product function, the business is creating tools that go far beyond off-the-shelf solutions – developing AI agents that analyse contracts, assess properties, and automate entire processes. The result is an operating model that allows its people to focus on what matters most: trusted relationships, advice, and meaningful customer impact.

For those joining now, this is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of financial services inside a progressive, high-growth fintech that is rewriting the rules of its industry.

The Opportunity

This is a career-defining role at the intersection of people, technology, and the future of work. Partnering directly with leadership, you will take the lead in “agentifying” HR workflows — embedding AI agents into every stage of the employee lifecycle to improve efficiency, accuracy, and experience. From there, your remit will expand across the business, collaborating with cross-functional teams to redesign processes, build new agent-led products, and embed AI capability at scale.

Beyond transformation of workflows, a critical focus will be future workforce planning. You will play a key role in shaping the organisational structure of tomorrow - mapping which roles remain human-led, which become agent-led, and how leaders can manage this blended workforce. This includes designing frameworks for upskilling, training leaders to effectively manage humans and agents side by side, and guiding the cultural shift needed for long-term adoption.

In practice, you will work with enterprise-grade tools to co-create solutions with internal teams, deliver real impact, and build a scalable model for agentic AI in the workforce.

Key areas of focus include:
  • Embedding AI agents into HR workflows and people processes end-to-end
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to design and deliver agent-led products
  • Leading strategic workforce planning and org design for a blended human + AI workforce
  • Training and enabling leaders to manage teams where agents and humans work in tandem
  • Driving adoption of enterprise AI tools and ensuring delivery of operational outcomes
About You

You might come from one of two worlds — a people and culture professional with strong curiosity and capability in technology and AI, or a product/tech leader with an appetite for workforce design and people strategy. Either way, you bring a rare blend of strategic thinking and practical delivery.

You’re comfortable sitting in the grey space where future workforce planning meets hands-on implementation. You can translate AI potential into real-world people outcomes, working at pace with leaders who are equally committed to learning, building, and innovating.

The ideal candidate will bring:
  • Experience in either P&C strategy or product/technology transformation, ideally in a fast-scaling technology organisation
  • Proven experience agentifying new systems and workflows, reshaping the way teams operate
  • Strong analytical and strategic workforce planning skills to design future models and organisational structures
  • The confidence to influence senior stakeholders and, where needed, build a case for change at executive level
  • A progressive, open-minded approach to AI adoption, with the curiosity to explore what’s possible and the pragmatism to deliver
This is not a “playbook” role — it’s for someone who thrives in unchartered territory and wants to help write the future of work!

The Process

The recruitment process will be two to three stages following a meeting with Sarah Bolitho, prior to references, background checks and then offer. You will have the opportunity to meet with key stakeholders, ask questions, and gain a deep understanding of the journey this organisation is on. For any confidential enquiries please contact Sarah on 0499 027 469 or sarah@levyl.com.au

Levyl encourage diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment solutions and commit to respond to every applicant. We make selection and shortlist decisions based on your skills, experience, personal attributes, and motivators. Should you be successful for interview, we will tender you an interview accommodation checklist, so that you can let us know how we can support you to perform at your best.
