With a significant membership and customer base, they deliver a broad range of services to the local community. Recognised for their operational scale and longstanding presence in the region, they are entering a period of organisational uplift, with recruitment positioned as a critical business priority.
The Leaders
You will report into the Head of P&C and work closely with a broader leadership team. The environment is currently light on infrastructure within P&C, with recruitment recently centralised from an administration perspective. There is strong executive support for uplifting capability, structure and outcomes, and autonomy will be provided to enable you to deliver meaningful change.
The Opportunity
This 3-month contract will see you stabilise, structure and elevate the recruitment function, ensuring immediate hiring needs are met while implementing frameworks that will create longer-term sustainability.
You will have the opportunity to:
This role will suit you if you thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments and are comfortable stepping into complexity with confidence. You enjoy bringing order to ambiguity, quickly diagnosing gaps, unpicking challenges and implementing practical structure that delivers measurable results. You will see the opportunity to create clarity, accountability and forward momentum.
It will also suit someone highly proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter, who can manage multiple concurrent vacancies without compromising on quality or stakeholder engagement. A commercial mindset is essential, and success in this role will come from resilience, pragmatism and the ability to influence with credibility. If creating structure, building frameworks and leaving a function stronger and more future-fit than when you arrived is what motivates you, this contract will provide the platform to do exactly that.

- Partner closely with hiring leaders to clarify role requirements, reset expectations and streamline processes.
- Introduce structure, frameworks and governance to an currently unstructured recruitment function.
- Revamp and standardise at least five key job advertisements, building templates and improving employer brand alignment.
- Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter to proactively source talent and build quality candidate pipelines.
- Conduct salary benchmarking to inform competitive and commercially sound hiring decisions.
- Coach and guide stakeholders to improve hiring capability, ensuring stronger selection and onboarding outcomes.
- Provide a clear roadmap for ongoing recruitment strategy, processes and workforce planning beyond the contract term.
