The Leaders
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this role partners closely with Regional Directors and business leaders across the southern and western region (the organisation’s largest).
The leadership team is commercially focused, relationship-driven and values pragmatic advice, and the People & Culture team is a tight-knit group of professionals working across both Business Partnering and Centres of Excellence. The team thrives on collaboration, mutual respect and a hands-on approach to delivering outcomes that are both strategic and practical. The culture is supportive, relationship-focused and energised by diverse perspectives and ideas.
The Opportunity
You will step into a highly visible role, partnering closely with business leaders and the P&C Centres of Excellence to shape an exceptional employee experience and strengthen organisational effectiveness across the business nationally.
As the trusted P&C lead for your region, you will build meaningful, credibility-based relationships, provide pragmatic and commercially aligned support, and bring people-focused solutions to life across the entire employee lifecycle. This role exists to coordinate end-to-end employee lifecycle activities for the region while balancing strategic alignment with hands-on delivery.

You are a confident and commercially astute HR generalist who thrives in a true business partnering capacity while remaining hands-on in the operational delivery of people initiatives. Enjoying balancing strategic conversations with leaders alongside rolling up your sleeves to execute, building trusted relationships, navigating complexity and making a tangible impact across the employee lifecycle will be key to your success.
With strong end-to-end HR experience, a solid grounding in Australian employment legislation (including IR and ER), and practical exposure across recruitment, engagement and performance, you are motivated by the opportunity to influence and deliver in equal measure!

- Acting as the first point of contact for all P&C queries across the region, providing trusted and practical advice
- Partnering with leaders to align regional people initiatives with the broader enterprise P&C strategy
- Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activity, partnering closely with Talent Acquisition
- Embedding and optimising the HRIS (Employee Connect), ensuring accurate data management and reporting
- Supporting engagement surveys and leading regional action planning to enhance employee experience
- Managing employee relations matters, grievances and performance processes with sound judgement and empathy
- Coordinating visa sponsorship activity and liaising with external providers for workers compensation
- Analysing P&C data and trends (including Power BI reporting) to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
- Supporting change initiatives and organisational projects in partnership with the broader P&C team and Centres of Excellence
