The Leader
You will be reporting to an experienced Head of People & Culture, who leads a well-established, respected national function and fosters a culture of support, performance, and innovation.
You will partner closely with Regional General Managers across Queensland and South Australia who are experienced, commercially minded leaders who value genuine partnership. The P&C function is viewed as a strategic enabler of business performance and plays a key role within this organisation, sitting on all regional leadership teams.
The Opportunity
This role enables you to have a strong impact in the business, driving strategic people initiatives and influencing the culture, leadership, engagement, and capability across both Queensland and South Australia.
Key responsibilities include:
You are an experienced HR generalist, with exposure to commercial, fast-paced environments. Your communication and relationship-building skills are key strengths, and you're confident advising, influencing and partnering at the senior leadership level.
You bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and are comfortable operating in fast paced, changing environments. A background in professional or project-based services is desirable, particularly those with exposure to sectors such as infrastructure, engineering, construction, or consulting. Experience with DEI, facilitation, and data-led people planning will be advantageous.

- Lead the execution of cyclical people programs, including remuneration reviews, talent and succession planning, and engagement surveys
- Provide proactive, commercially sound advice on ER, conduct, wellbeing, and leadership performance
- Leverage data and insights to inform regional business planning and decision-making
- Support and facilitate L&D programs and foundational leadership development
- Contribute to national P&C projects including performance framework design and DEI initiatives
- Build trusted relationships across leadership teams to embed a values-led, high-performing culture
