P&C Business Partner - 6 Month Contract

Date Published:

24-Apr-2026

Reference:

1601484

Contract Type:

Contractor

Location:

Sydney

Salary:

130,000.00 - 140,000.00 Year

The Company

This organisation is a property investment and management business experiencing rapid growth through acquisitions, with over 100 hires in the past 18 months and continued expansion planned. With employees embedded across centres in NSW, QLD and VIC, and a strong leadership presence in the Eastern Suburbs based Head Office, the business is building a strong People & Culture function. This presents a unique opportunity to shape scalable people practices, strengthen leadership capability, and support a high-performance, values-led culture.

The Leaders

Reporting to a newly appointed Head of People & Culture (ex-fractional CPO), this role operates within a collaborative and agile leadership environment. The leadership style is centred on partnership, autonomy, and strength-based development, with a clear focus on enabling leaders rather than directing them. This is a small, high-impact team where a hands-on, proactive approach is essential.

The Opportunity

You will drive sustainable uplift in leadership capability, enabling leaders to take ownership of people outcomes and embed consistent, high-quality people practices across the business. Day to day you will:
  • Partner with senior leaders to translate business strategy into practical people outcomes
  • Coach and influence leaders to build capability in performance, feedback, and decision-making
  • Support recruitment uplift, improving hiring quality, process, and inclusivity
  • Embed capability frameworks and performance practices to drive consistency
  • Use people data and insights to guide decision-making and challenge assumptions
  • Support organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives during growth phases
  • Drive improvements in engagement, retention, and overall employee experience
  • Strengthen leadership accountability and reduce reliance on P&C as a transactional function

About You

You are an experienced P&C Business Partner with a strong generalist background, comfortable operating in complex, matrixed environments during periods of growth and change. This will suit someone with a coaching mindset and a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, shifting behaviours and building capability rather than dependency.

You are optimistic, proactive, and energised by transformation environments, with a natural ability to build trust and psychological safety. You balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and are confident working in ambiguity.

Experience in capability uplift, organisational development, or behavioural change will be highly regarded, as will exposure to systems such as Employment Hero and recruitment optimisation.

The Process

Following a meeting with a Levyl team member, you will meet with the Head of P&C, as well as a senior stakeholder. Please reach out to Emilia Rodriguez on emilia@levyl.com.au for a confidential discussion.

Levyl encourage diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment and commit to respond to every applicant. We make selection and shortlist decisions based on your skills, experience, personal attributes and motivators. When you apply on one of our ads please tell us the pronouns that you use and any reasonable adjustments that you may need throughout the interview process.
