The Company

Our client is a well-established organisation with a longstanding presence in the Australian market. With a national footprint and a workforce of over 1,000 employees, they are known for delivering high-quality products and services to a broad client base. Operating within a fast-paced, hands-on environment, they are an operationally focused business supporting a largely blue-collar workforce.

Their sustained growth has been driven by innovation, operational excellence, and a strong people-focused culture. This business continues to evolve, embracing new technologies and expanding its offerings to meet the needs of its customers. In support of this continued transformation, they are seeking a HR Business Partner to play a key role in shaping and supporting their people strategy!

The Leaders

This role reports directly to a senior HR leader with extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams within large organisations. The Role

This is a permanent opportunity for a capable and confident HR Business Partner to join a respected national People & Culture team within a complex, operationally focused business.

You will be working closely with operational managers, and deliver practical, business-aligned people solutions that drive engagement, performance, and continuous improvement across the workforce.

You will have the opportunity to:
  • Own and manage a multi-site operational client group across several states.
  • Partner with operational leaders to drive engagement, performance, and cultural improvement.
  • Provide expert support on performance planning, employee relations, and leadership development.
  • Lead and contribute to EA negotiations, with agreements due for renewal in the future.
  • Ensure compliance and best practice across all employment matters and workplace issues.
  • Support workforce planning, succession, and talent management initiatives.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of employee engagement and culture programs.
  • Assist in change management activities and business transformation initiatives.
  • Guide and coach leaders on HR policy, procedures, and best practice application.
  • Collaborate with the broader P&C team on national people projects and continuous improvement.
About you

If you are a confident and solutions-focused P&C Business Partner who thrives in fast-paced, operational environments, this role will offer a meaningful opportunity to make an impact. Your collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills will enable you to build trusted relationships and influence leaders across all levels of the business. Experience working within an operational company will set you up for success as well as confidence in ER/IR management.

The Process

There will be two rounds of interviews onsite with our client for this opportunity in addition to meeting with a Levyl Consultant.  For further information or a confidential discussion, please contact Emilia Rodriguez on 0497 938 177. We look forward to hearing from you!

Levyl encourage diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment solutions and commit to respond to every applicant.
