The Leaders
This role comes with the opportunity to work closely in tandem with a number of high-performing and impactful senior leaders across both P&C and ER. You’ll report directly into the P&C Manager, Specialist Advice who is an expert in employment legislation and IR, and form part of a larger and highly supportive HR/ER team.
The Opportunity
This role is central to managing complex employee relations cases, applying enterprise frameworks, and ensuring that workplace practices align with organisational values and legal compliance. You will also play an important role in supporting the injury management, safety, and wellness strategy, contributing to a culture of care and accountability.
Beyond day-to-day advisory, you will drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance governance processes and advisory delivery. You will also be responsible for monitoring service outcomes to ensure they meet agreed standards and performance benchmarks. With oversight of risk management frameworks across employee relation and safety this role offers a broad remit and the chance to make a measurable impact across the business!

Your academic grounding in Business, HR, Psychology or Workplace Relations has given you the tools to understand policy and legislation, and translate them into practical, risk-aware solutions that support both people and business outcomes.

- Delivering expert advice on policy, governance, and process matters across the full employment life cycle, including performance, conduct, and fitness for work.
- Managing complex employee relations cases and conducting thorough, objective workplace investigations.
- Coaching and guiding people managers on performance management strategies, including improvement planning and constructive feedback.
- Responding to complex or escalated employee and manager queries, providing clear, risk-based guidance aligned with employment legislation and company policy.
- Supporting Business Partners in the implementation of organisational change by offering specialist advice and options to manage risk effectively.
- Leading complex injury management and recovery at work cases, particularly those involving psychological injury, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Identifying and analysing injury and recovery trends to inform proactive safety and early intervention strategies.
- Collaborating with global teams to develop consistent, scalable HR solutions and maintain a knowledge library to support ongoing learning and efficiency.
