Contract Type:

Part Time

Location:

Sydney

Salary:

The Company

TMRW Music Group is Australia’s powerhouse of electronic music, with over 23 years of experience in recorded music, artist booking, event promotion, and management! From a rebrand of Ministry of Sound Australia in 2017, the Sydney‑based group has retained its legacy in club culture whilst continuing its evolution under the new TMRW brand.

TMRW represents leading local talent like PNAU, Hot Dub Time Machine and Fisher, and nurtures global artists through its recordings part of the business, delivering international chart successes and millions of streams.

Beyond recordings, TMRW Music Group operates a full-service agency that books DJs and live acts for clubs, festivals, corporate events, and bespoke activations across Australia and internationally. The group also produces world-class events under the Ministry of Sound banner as well as other brands, including high-end residency series, and large‑scale festivals - bringing premier live electronic experiences to Aussie audiences!

The Leaders

This role will report directly into the Chief Operating Officer (COO), who is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the business, including strategic development, legal and commercial compliance and workforce management. The COO plays a key leadership role in driving the company’s growth and maintaining its position as a leader in the music industry.

As the standalone P&C Manager, you will also collaborate closely with senior management to implement strategic initiatives and ensure the continued success of TMRW Music Group’s workforce.

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate, part time People & Culture professional to partner closely with TMRW and play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of the people function – blending strategy with day-to-day generalist HR activities to create a truly engaged and high-performing culture.

There is momentum across the business and an appetite to elevate the employee experience through thoughtful, people-first initiatives. This is your chance to shape and deliver meaningful change; whether that be through designing leadership development pathways, championing recognition programs, or strengthening connection and collaboration across teams, this is a role where your ideas will be welcomed, and your impact will be tangible.

Specifically you will:
  • Act as a trusted HR partner to the COO and senior leadership, supporting business-wide people initiatives;
  • Lead performance management practices and provide day-to-day support to leaders across the business;
  • Facilitate impactful 1:1s and employee touchpoints to strengthen communication, development and connection;
  • Drive team training and development programs, with a focus on leadership capability and career progression within the group;
  • Lead succession planning conversations to future-proof capability;
  • Embed reward and recognition initiatives that highlight performance and drive retention;
  • Use data and systems to measure success, inform decision-making, and identify areas for improvement;
  • Foster collaboration, alignment, and a values-led employee experience across all teams; and
  • Over the long-term, work to design and implement a people strategy that aligns with the organisational goals, and champions culture, engagement, and business growth.

The Process

Following an initial phone screen, and meeting with a Levyl team member, shortlisted candidates will take part in a two-stage interview process with TMRW Music Group. The first interview will be with the COO, followed by a second-round meeting with additional members of the business.

The salary on offer will be commensurate with experience and provided upon application – this is a part-time role with the option to look at two or three fixed days per week, or shorter days over a 4 to 5 day work week. We’re moving quickly on this one, so please apply today or contact Emilia Rodriguez on 0497 938 177 or emilia@levyl.com.au with any confidential queries.

Levyl encourage diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment solutions and commit to respond to every applicant. We make selection and shortlist decisions based on your skills, experience, personal attributes, and motivators. Should you be successful for interview, we will tender you an interview accommodation checklist, so that you can let us know how we can support you to perform at your best.
