Within Asia Pacific, the organisation maintains a significant operational presence supporting both manufacturing and supply operations across the region.
The Leaders
This role reports into a passionate and commercially minded Head of HR who is deeply invested in building strong leadership capability and a high-performing culture across the organisation.
In this role you will also partner closely with Supply Chain leaders across manufacturing, warehousing and operations, acting as a trusted advisor on workforce strategy, employee relations and organisational performance.
The Opportunity
This role will drive people strategy and operational HR delivery across the supply chain function, ensuring effective workforce management, strong employee relations and improved organisational performance in a unionised operational environment.
Responsibilities include:
This role will suit a HR Business Partner who enjoys being close to the action in operational and unionised environments. You will need to be comfortable navigating Australian employment legislation and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and confidently support leaders through complex industrial relations matters. It is a hands-on role where strong HR fundamentals are paired with commercial awareness and the ability to build credibility with stakeholders across manufacturing or supply chain operations!
Success in the role will come from solid HR Business Partner experience within a manufacturing, logistics or operational setting, supported by a strong grasp of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements. Experience supporting EBA negotiations and engaging with unions will be highly valuable, along with the confidence to manage complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
The pace is fast, priorities shift, and there is plenty happening, so clear communication, sound judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships will go a long way.

- Provide expert guidance on Australian employment legislation including the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Support leaders in managing complex employee relations matters including disputes, misconduct and performance management
- Ensure compliance with state-based workers’ compensation legislation and employment obligations
- Manage core HR processes across the employee lifecycle including workforce planning, onboarding, performance management and development
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and support organisational design and change across the supply function
- Analyse HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism and overtime to identify workforce risks and productivity opportunities
- Partner with Finance and Supply leaders to support labour cost management and workforce planning
