Their innovation has seen their business expand from a single product to now manufacturing food that has become a staple in households across Australia.

Across the three sites in Wetherill Park, Perth and Auckland, core to their business are their values of looking after their customers and looking after their people, which is exercised across all levels of the organisation. Their committed workforce of close to 350 work to these each day.

The Leaders

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will join a collaborative and supportive HR team consisting of a junior HR Business Partner, Safety Manager and Payroll function.

The leadership team are passionate about the business and its people, and are seeking an experienced HR professional who can provide pragmatic advice, build credibility quickly and positively influence leaders at all levels.

This role will suit someone who enjoys coaching leaders, navigating challenging conversations and developing trusted stakeholder relationships.

The Opportunity

Joining the business during a period of transition, you will take ownership of your own portfolio and provide end-to-end HR support across a predominantly blue-collar workforce.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Building trusted relationships with operational leaders and employees across your portfolio
  • Coaching and supporting leaders on employee relations matters including performance management, misconduct, grievances and investigations
  • Developing leadership capability through practical advice, coaching and guidance
  • Supporting recruitment, workforce planning and talent initiatives across the business
  • Interpreting and applying employment legislation, Awards and company policies
  • Partnering with leaders to drive employee engagement, retention and performance outcomes
  • Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the people function
  • Working collaboratively with the wider HR, Safety and Payroll teams to deliver effective people solutions
About You

You are an experienced HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor who thrives in operational, blue-collar environments such as manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, transport, construction or similar industries.

You are known for your maturity, resilience and ability to quickly establish credibility with stakeholders. You are comfortable working with leaders who may require additional coaching and support, and can confidently influence, challenge and guide conversations while maintaining strong working relationships.

You will also bring:
  • Demonstrated experience in a true generalist HR role
  • Strong employee and industrial relations capability
  • Experience supporting operational or blue-collar workforces
  • A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to hit the ground running
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational delivery
The Process

Following an initial meeting with a Levyl consultant, shortlisted candidates will meet with the Human Resources Director. Given the urgency of the requirement, interviews will commence immediately with the successful candidate expected to start as soon as possible.

The role is offered as an initial three-month contract, however there is the potential for the position to become permanent for the right person.
Hourly rate salary circa $130,000 + superannuation (pro rata for contract period).
