Contract Type:
Contractor
Location:
Melbourne
Salary:
75,000.00 - 90,000.00 Year hourly rate equivalent pro rated for 3 months
We're supporting a large, well-established business with a footprint across ANZ, with this role based in South East Melbourne. Their workforce is predominantly operational and site-based, so the work here is practical, fast-paced, and closely tied to day-to-day business needs.
They’re heading into a busy period and are looking for a HR Advisor to join the team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) for an initial 3-month contract, ideally with an immediate or near-term start.
The Leaders
You will work closely with an experienced Business Partner and another Advisor within a collaborative team. The environment is hands-on and delivery focused. It's a practical and supportive setup where people step in to help each other when things get busy.
The Opportunity
If you enjoy being in the detail of HR, supporting leaders, working through performance matters, and keeping things moving behind the scenes, this role offers exactly that. This role is responsible for delivering day-to-day HR advisory support, with a focus on performance, ER and reporting across operational sites.
- Prepare performance management documentation, including letters and PIPs
- Support performance processes and coach leaders in preparation activities
- Manage low-level employee relations matters
- Gather, analyse and support reporting for senior leadership
- Assist with HR reporting and data-driven decision-making
- Support WHS-related queries and processes in collaboration with the broader team
You have previous HR Advisory experience, comfortable operating in a hands-on, process-driven environment. You bring strong attention to detail, particularly in documentation and reporting, and are confident supporting leaders with performance and ER matters.
Exposure to blue-collar or operational environments is highly regarded, along with a working knowledge of WHS. You are pragmatic, team-oriented and adaptable, willing to support across a variety of HR activities.
The Process
The process will be streamlined to move quickly for the right candidate. Following a meeting with a Levyl team member there will be 1-2 interview stages with the client. The role is an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension depending on business needs.
Please apply today or contact Harry Hobson on 0461 425 404 or harry@levyl.com.au for a confidential discussion.
Levyl encourage diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment solutions and commit to respond to every applicant. We make selection and shortlist decisions based on your skills, experience, personal attributes, and motivators. Should you be successful for interview, we will tender you an interview accommodation checklist, so that you can let us know how we can support you to perform at your best
