As the only international hotel group headquartered in Sydney, this organisation operates over 75 hotels across seven brands in eight countries, with continued growth planned.

This role sits within the People & Culture team and is responsible for the development and delivery of employer brand and internal communications activities across the organisation. It is a practical, hands-on role focused on content creation, campaign delivery, and execution of communication initiatives that support attraction, engagement, and change.

This role collaborates  closely with People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and Corporate Communications to ensure employer brand activities align with business strategy and priorities.

The Leaders

Reporting to the Director of Organisational Development, you will be supported by a collaborative and forward-thinking leader who values creativity, practical execution, and meaningful engagement. The broader leadership team promotes a connected, people-first culture, with a strong emphasis on alignment, communication, and impact.

The Opportunity

This role is designed to bring the organisation’s culture and purpose to life through meaningful communications, authentic storytelling, and amplifying the brand’s reputation as an employer of choice externally. It is a creative and dynamic role combining both internal communication and employer brand, giving you total end to end ownership and accountability across channels and audiences, and a role that has very visible and global impact.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and delivering internal communications and employer brand plans that support engagement and business priorities
  • Designing and executing employer brand campaigns to support talent attraction and positioning hospitality as a career of opportunity
  • Creating and co-ordinating written, visual, and video content across internal platforms and external social channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Supporting business initiatives such as strategy roadshows, awards programmes, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and change projects through clear and consistent communication
  • Delivering change communication materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and company values
  • Coordinating communication activity with People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and Corporate Communications teams
  • Managing content calendars and contributing to ongoing improvements in communication effectiveness
  • Measuring engagement and reach to inform future activity
About You

You have at least five years’ experience in Employer Branding, Internal Communications, Talent Attraction, or People & Culture, where your creative communication, content creation, and careers marketing experience has delivered demonstrable results.

You are passionate about storytelling, a strong writer, and able to bring ideas to life through words, visuals, reels, and video.

Operating in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you are practical, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Within a leader-led culture, you not only build content and campaigns but also recognise the value of engaging with teams to ensure maximum impact.
