Talent Program Manager | 12-month fixed term contract

Newly created role to own and deliver the key cyclical HR activities to curate a high-performance culture.

The Leaders

You will report into the Head of Talent and Organisational Development who has an impressive background in delivering strategic talent initiatives that drive performance. They are incredibly down to earth, collaborative and have a true partnership leadership style.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in ensuring that talent aspirations can be achieved through recognising high-performance. The key focus of your role will be to design and manage the annual and cyclical HR talent activities across your client group which includes talent and performance reviews, succession planning, management of internal promotions and performance calibration sessions.

This will see you partner with the broader P&C team and business leaders to influence outcomes using key data and insights, and to provide advice and guidance on the strategic talent management cycle.

Further, you will:

  • Own the strategy and development of talent programs end-to-end in collaboration with the broader P&C team
  • Project manage the delivery of talent programs ensuring they are delivered to desired timelines
  • Provide data-led insights into various talent programs to key business stakeholders
  • Exercise thought leadership to inform best practice
  • Measure, review and provide insight to business stakeholders on the solutions for effectiveness and future improvements.

About You

Key to success will be your experience as a HR generalist with a focus on managing cyclical talent initiatives or a background in OD or Talent Management. Through this, you will demonstrate the ability to craft strategies and execute the delivery of impactful talent programs.

Experience using data and analytics to develop insights and inform best practice is critical. You will also be comfortable in partnering with senior executives to influence outcomes and provide guidance and coaching on the delivery of these activities of work.

You will be someone who is passionate for Talent and improving the employee experience to drive a high-engaged and high-performing culture.

Financial services experience or a similar industry will see you hit the ground running, but not a must have.

The Process

The process will consist of an initial meeting with a Levyl consultant followed by two rounds of interviews with the client which includes the Head of Talent and OD and potentially other members of the P&C team plus a business stakeholder. Candidates will also be required to undergo psychometric testing as part of the selection process.

The successful candidate will be subject to a background check carried out by the client.
