Mamamia is Australia's largest women's company, with its core purpose to make the world a better place for women and girls. This is fundamental to all that they do, which is a lot! With an enormous reach, Mamamia engage with seven million women each month across its various platforms, including written content, videos, audio, and social media. And to add another string to their bow, they host the world’s largest women’s podcast network!

Despite this scale, Mamamia inside the doors, still feels small enough that you can create real and tangible change. They are a fast-paced, innovative, and deeply collaborative organisation. With the appointment of a new CEO Natalie Harvey in June, Mamamia has an ambitious expansion strategy in place, and this incoming TA Partner will be a pivotal appointment to drive this!
The Leaders
The Talent Partner will report into the Head of People & Culture with secondary support from the People & Culture Manager who are both contemporary, tenured and accomplished HR professionals within the Australian media industry. With their guidance and leadership, you will drive the day-to-day operations of talent acquisition in this standalone role, as well as work on projects related to the future state of talent at Mamamia!
The Opportunity
This is a truly unique opportunity to join Mamamia and drive recruitment operations across the company, in partnership with the broader P&C team and hiring managers. You will enjoy a high-energy, fast-moving environment and have the chance to recruit across all business functions. This will see you:

  • Manage the recruitment process for roles such as sales, marketing and finance through to journalists and podcasters;
  • Proactively head-hunt and pipeline talent with niche skill sets;
  • Drive candidate engagement – ensuring all people engaged with Mamamia through the TA function have a positive experience;
  • Complete reference checks and employee contracts;
  • Drive initiatives to increase the uptake of the employee referral program to leverage talent;
  • Build strategic partnerships with hiring managers to uplift capability across the recruitment process through coaching and influencing;
  • Have the future opportunity to deliver training & support to hiring managers in relation to candidate experience;
  • Create and deliver reporting and insights to leadership to help influence talent decisions; and
  • Spearhead projects such as a potential ATS implementation in future

About You

This role will suit an experienced in-house recruiter with some agency experience who thrives working in a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. You will have a knack for engaging with talent in the market and sharing the Mamamia story to be an employer of choice!
With the scope to uplift hiring manager capability across recruitment and improve the candidate experience, you will be looking for a role that will give you the ability to work between operational and strategic projects as they arise.
Your ability to build talent pipelines, engage with a broad range of candidates in the market and provide a superior candidate and hiring manager experience will see you reach great success.
Along with this, a passion for women's media would be advantageous!
Mamamia offer hybrid working, and you will be happy to come into the office in Woolloomooloo and be amongst their vibrant and energetic team. Any prior exposure to the media industry would be advantageous! 
The Process
Following your process with Levyl, upon shortlist you will meet with the Head of People & Culture and the People & Culture Manager, followed by psychometric testing before meeting with the COO and potentially a member of the senior leadership team. Levyl will then complete relevant reference checks, and finalise the offer, an immediate start can be accommodated!
