The Leaders

This role has a direct reporting line to the CFO and COO meaning your visibility at C’Suite level is clear as is your opportunity to influence key decisions and gain a line of sight that will benefit you in your role. These leaders both possess long-standing reputations of excellence within their respective fields and have strong relationships with the CEO, Board and within broader industry.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible role that will support a team of circa 100+ professionals predominantly within finance, on helping shape the people strategy, workplace culture and commercial direction of the team. In essence, this position brings together employee engagement, learning and development, change management, internal communications and business management.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the people enablement strategy, partnering with senior leaders to drive and champion team culture by identifying and delivering people initiatives;
  • Identifying training and development opportunities and working on the formulation of initiatives to uplift the capability and skills of the team and their leaders (partnering with CoE’s and BP’s to roll out);
  • Curating, owning and facilitating people forums and events including leading and facilitating Town Halls, leadership offsites and people workshops;
  • Working as a ‘change agent’, utilising your strong problem-solving and analytical acumen to support the team through periods of transformation and investment;
  • Utilsing your comms abilities to take complex concepts and produce compelling internal communications across various channels to promote a shared understanding of strategic initiatives and projects (includes executive reporting);
  • Supporting the leadership team to ensure the successful execution of key people related decisions; and
  • Driving initiatives that support the operations of the team, including the continuous improvement of processes and tools connected specifically with data and insights.

About You

To be considered for this role you will possess extensive experience working in a senior People & Culture role where you have been required to build and drive highly effective people engagement, capability and change plans. You will have sound examples that demonstrate your success developing and implementing new ideas and initiatives that improve organisational performance whilst bringing change and transformation to life through both strategic and tactical communication, planning and execution.

In order to hit the ground running, we expect that exposure working within a top ASX, matrix style environment would be advantageous as would be exposure to accounting, consulting or financial services firms or teams.
