The Leaders

This role will report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP). Together, you will work to roll out SWP frameworks and programs that will support the future of work for our client. You’ll also be a part of a high-performing People & Culture team who are passionate about what they do, collaborative, curious and foster a culture that supports the diverse experiences each individual brings to the table!

The Opportunity

As the Senior Analyst, your role will be to enable robust and sophisticated SWP across the organisation through the development of research, analytics, reporting and insights. You will be a trusted advisor who will analyse workforce capability gaps and forecast future talent needs to ensure that the business is equipped with the right people to support operations.

You’ll work collaboratively with the Senior Strategic Workforce Planning Manager to use data and analytics to tell a story that provides insight to a wide-ranging stakeholder group. Your research and analytical skills will see you support the future of work review to help inform talent strategies.

Further, you will:

  • Support the rollout the organisation-wide SWP framework
  • Collect, research, analyse, identify key trends and report on workforce data to inform the development of strategic workforce plans
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across all verticals of the business and support the delivery of analytical insights
  • Work with business functions, people leaders and P&C peers to drive the gathering of insights to develop the SWP to ensure it is aligned to operational needs and capability
  • Analyse data and provide recommendations that identify and resolve gaps
  • Develop data in a compelling and visual way to enable distinct insights to be drawn
  • Coordinate and develop key reports for business and P&C stakeholders including for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board
  • Work closely with the Talent and Capability teams to provide data to assist in strategic planning around talent programs, recruitment and development programs to ensure a pipeline of critical talent.

About You

This role will suit an experienced candidate who has worked in data and analytics roles within a HR/People & Culture function. You will be comfortable using various reporting tools with the ability to interpret data and pull insights to tell develop a visual story.

You will be comfortable working in data; identifying trends and providing recommendations through analysis to help inform decision-making processes. The ability to manage competing projects at one time will also see you succeed. In addition to this, experience in helping develop reporting tools may be helpful as there will be opportunities for you to lead continuous improvements.

Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills are key, with demonstrated experience partnering with others to work together to deliver a shared outcome. 

Experience working in strategic workforce planning or in a technical/operational environment with exposure looking at the future of work is highly advantageous.

The Process

We anticipate there to be two-rounds of interviews with our client, in addition to an interview with a Levyl consultant. The first-round will be with the Head of Workforce Strategy and another P&C leader followed by a second-round interview with the Chief People Officer.
