The Company

This role is an opportunity to become a trusted partner and working to enhance the employee lifeycle, working closely with a high-performing P&C team.

The Leaders

This role reports to the Head of P&C who is well tenured in industry, having operated in high-performance environment. You will also work closely regional leaders across Australia to manage people related matters and drive engagement and performance.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will essentially manage the employee lifecycle from both an operational and strategic standpoint, including the revision of policy and process that are fit-for-purpose.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Adopting and adapting international people processes that support collaboration and a high performance culture;
  • Developing and managing the annual and cyclical people processes such as remuneration, performance reviews, talent reviews and succession planning;
  • Supporting the business leaders with people issues and development, looking at training opportunities;
  • Overseeing the employee lifecycle and recruitment, including the onboard of hires;
  • Ensuring all policies are implemented and kept up to date as required; and
  • Developing project work as seen fit by the business for example focused on culture, wellbeing, employee engagement, EVP and DE&I.

About You

To be considered for this role you will be an experienced HR/P&C Business Partner that has amassed tenure performing within a professional or technology/start up environment.

You will be hands on, not afraid to roll your sleeves up and get into the detail whilst also thinking longer-term. You will have strong employee relations experience, with the ability to coach and guide leaders on complex matters and have experience working with Awards.

Working at pace and with ambiguity will see you succeed by remaining focused on desired outcomes and supporting the development of structured approaches to enhance the function.

There will be travel required in this role across Australia on a monthly basis.
